DUTIES REPORT


WEEK 1 ( 7 JAN 2013 - 10 JAN 2013 )

  • Reporting for duty to the company of MAYAM LEGACY ENTERPRISE and given a little bit along with brief description of the company's operations by the managing director, Mr Mohd Nor Azman B. Mohd Ariff and he was instrumental will supervise my work for me to be in this company.     
  • Adapting in practical training.
  • Prepare the document that is told by the owner of the company.
  • Briefing on marketing target documentation like list of aiming company.  
  • Learn how to do marketing.
  • Learn how to solve customer/client needs.
  • Learn how to identify potential customer/client.
  • documentation like company profile, business card and catalog has been supply.





WEEK 2 ( 12 JAN 2013 - 17 JAN 2013 )

  • A set of list of target or potential customer has been provide to do marketing.
  • highlighting the most potential location and area of marketing (Kuala Lumpur Area) 
  • Preparation on documentation of contract and tender of private and government sector.
  • Scheduling the time according to the list of target potential company which 4-6 company per day with successful marketing agenda.
  • Doing marketing is begin at this stage to convince about the product that Mayam Legacy provide .
  • Update sales and list.
  • Check the status of customers that want to be followed up as potential customer.
  • Makes schedule adjustment on meeting next client.


WEEK 3 (19 JAN 2013 - 24 JAN 2013 )

  • Marketing on next list of target company.
  • Return on achieve meeting by followed up potential company . 
  • Updating company list.
  • Updating and preparing some sets of Mayam Legacy company profile.
  • Updating successful job deliverable by doing list of product and services that provide.
  • Check the status of previous customers that want to be as potential customer.
  • Update Order Sales for late December 2012 related with customer and supplier.


WEEK 4 ( 26 JAN 2013 - 31 JAN 2013 )

  • Update Order Sales for January 2013 related with previous order.
  • Check the status of previous customers that want to be as potential customer.
  • Makes payment to supplier on previous job done.
  • Check the status of customers that want the services or buy any supplied product.
  • First sales by SMK Yaakob Latif(Jln Peel, KL) on ordering 100pcs of sport attire and 200pcs pupils name tags. 
  • Meeting regular supplier to dealing and discuss about school sport attire for example; about material of attire, price, design and colour.
  • At the same time, proceed on ordering of power supply of science lab for UiTM Shah Alam.
  • Update a record of sales made ​​by partner and me on early January.


WEEK 5 ( 2 FEB 2013 - 7 FEB 2013 )

  • Preparing quotation to submit to SMK Yaakob Latif in order to decide the price for them to choose our price.
  • Check the status of previous customers that want to be as potential customer.
  • Marketing on next list of target company.
  • Return on achieve meeting by followed up potential company.
  • Quotation has been agreed, and proceed with order with regular supplier.
  • Makes deposits payment to supplier account to proceed ordering.
  • Progress meeting with every staff and report marketing progress to managing director. 
  • Work out on design of new shirt that has been order to print.
  • Follow up with government sector company to discuss on product supply.
  • Updating sales and customer profile


WEEK 6 ( 9 FEB 2013 - 14 FEB 2013 )

  • Update Order Sales for February 2013 related with followed up client
  • Check the status of product that being order with supplier.
  • Check the status of previous customers that want to be as potential customer.
  • Marketing inspection with company clerk to update sales on Kuala Lumpur area.
  • Preparing delivery order and invoice for Fakulti Sains Gunaan UiTM Shah Alam on product purchased.  
  • Secure packaging that arrive from oversea before deliver to UiTM.
  • Update staff sales.


WEEK 7 ( 16 FEB 2013 - 21 FEB 2013 )

  • Delivering item that UiTM purchased which is laboratory power supply 
  • Install and maintains power supply on their lab.
  • Makes payment resit to customer.
  • Check the status of previous customers that want to be as potential customer.
  • Collect product from sports attire supplier at Kepong before set an appoinment to deliver to school.
  • Followed up with name tag supplier and check the embroidery to make sure there is no mistake on name list of student.
  • Update staff sales.
  • Make overdue payments to suppliers shirt when cash on delivery and get the whole shirt orders.


WEEK 8 ( 23 FEB 2013 - 28 FEB 2013 )

  • Update Order Sales for February 2013 related with corresponding customer.
  • Makes payment to some lab equipment supplier.
  • Recheck on name tag and school sports attire before deliver to SMK Yakoob Latif.
  • Preparing invoice, resit and delivery order that attach for SMK Yakoob Latif
  • Closing corresponding potential customer target list.
  • Meeting and deliver name tag and school sports attire to SMK Yakoob Latif.
  • Receive payment from SMK Yakoob Latif and transferring to Mayam Legacy Ent bank account .
  • Helping and contribute in order to complete the company accounting status and sales.
  • Progress meeting with managing director and scheduling next task for other company staff.

ORGANIZATION CHART


COMPANY BACKGROUND


MAYAM LEGACY ENTERPRISE has put the company's main mission as FRIENDLINESS AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION in services and supply more than what is expected by the customer. Through this situation, the company believes the potential for them to continue to feel in existing markets as one of the suppliers that can serve their customers.
As an intern at the MAYAM LEGACY ENTERPRISE I learned the basic structure and operating principles of this organization while executing assignments in marketing purpose and working with the professional staff. I learned a lot in order doing marketing through director who is the owner of this company which is Mr. Mohd Nor Azman b. Mohd Ariff.
MAYAM LEGACY ENTERPRISE was registered on 06th June 2008 with the Companies Commission of Malaysia with registration number SA0088959-X under the Business Registration Act 1956. In addition, this company was registered with the Ministry of Finance Malaysia with registration reference number is 357-02119582 and registered on the 12th November 2008. The company was completely characterized the type of business by its ownership or sole proprietorship officially on 23 March 2011.
It is fully owned by Mohd Nor Azman Bin Mohd Ariff and have several employees as subject to the organizational chart in the appendices that attached. MAYAM LEGACY ENTERPRISE believes the ability to remain competitive by providing full dedication and commitment in the field of business undertaken. And the history of this company, they has successfully implemented a multi-party transactions with the faith in the company in Malaysia especially in Klang Valley Area.
MAYAM LEGACY ENTERPRISE has its own vision of the company to provide quality business services with minimal cost and effective without compromising the quality and creativity of the customers' expectations. This value is always applied in every element of marketing by the company's own directors. This company has always put the target on the work that can be performed and in the ability of the company.
In addition, the company also has the vision and mission will seek to raise capital and finance from Halal sources may obtain mercy and blessings of Allah as their philosophy in order to become one of the Muslim Trading company. OBJECTIVES OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING



The main objective of the Industrial Training is to experience and understand real lifesituations in industrial organizations and their related environments and accelerating thelearning process of how student’s knowledge could be used in a realistic way. In additionto that, industrial training also makes one understand the formal and informalrelationships in an industrial organization so as to promote favorable human relations andteamwork. Besides, it provides the exposure to practice and apply the acquiredknowledge “hands - on” in the working environment. Industrial training also provides asystematic introduction to the ways of industry and developing talent and attitudes, sothat one can understand how Human Resource Development works.Moreover, students can gain hands-on experience that is related to the studentsmajoring so that the student can relate to and widen the skills that have been learnt while being in university. Industrial training also exposes the students to the real career worldand accustoms them to an organizational structure, business operation and administrativefunctions.Furthermore, students implement what they have learned and learn morethroughout this training. Besides, students can also gain experience to select the optimalsolution in handling a situation. During industrial training students can learn the acceptedsafety practices in the industry. Students can also develop a sense of responsibilitytowards society

INTRODUCTION OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING


As we know, Internships provide real world experience to those looking to explore or gain the relevant knowledge and skills required to enter into a particular career field. Internships are relatively short term in nature with the primary focus on getting some on the job training and taking what’s learned in the classroom and applying it to the real world. Interns generally have a supervisor who assigns specific tasks and evaluates the interns overall work. For internships for credit, usually a faculty sponsor will work along with the site supervisor to ensure that the necessary learning is taking place. Interns can be high school or college students or even adults interested in trying out a new career. Many college students do internships to gain relevant experience in a particular career field as well as to get exposure to determine if they have a genuine interest in the field. Internships are an excellent way to begin building those all important connections that are invaluable in developing and maintaining a strong professional network for the future.

In performing my internship, it's a successful one I had to take the help and guideline of some respected persons. First of all I am grateful to Allah who gives me sound mind & sound health to accomplish my summer placement. The completion of the task gives me much Pleasure. Her willingness to motivate us contributed tremendously to my internship session . I also would like to thank her for showing me and my classmate some example and also technics in the organization that related to the topic discuss of our internship session  Besides, i would like to thank the authority of Kolej Poly-Tech Mara Kuala Lumpur (KPTMKL) for providing us with a good environment and facilities to complete this course.
In addition, I would to thank to my classmate because of the availability from all of them while discussing the topic, experience and ideas of this internship session  We collaborates together to find ideas that can be included into this task to completion in print and sent to the lecturer involved.
Besides that, I would to appreciate my internship supervisor which Miss Zahiatul Huda. She is the person that in-charge in order to evaluate my assessment and performance related in working industry. 
As the most important person, I also want to thanks to Mr. Mohd Nor Azman B. Mohd Ariff as my Managing Director in his company which is MAYAM LEGACY ENTERPRISE that giving me chance and opportunity to work in his organization in order to complete my internship session within 2 month until it's been done completely.
